About Me

I shoot mostly landscapes, cityscapes, and townscapes as well as portrait and commercial photography. My style captures unique takes on familiar scenes, offering the audience a glimpse of the surprising beauty that can be found in ordinary subjects. I often shoot long exposures to create evocative, moody images that play with a sense of motion and time.

The Studio Collective

I am a founding member of The Studio Collective in Nova Scotia. We are a bunch of like-minded photographers who get together on a regular basis to collaborate on portrait photography, try new things and learn from each other.

Elora Photography Collective

I was a founding member of the Elora Photography Collective (EPC) in Ontario and shared a studio with partners Wayne Simpson and Dan Dunlop in The Elora Centre for the Arts for four years. It’s a collaborative studio space with the sole purpose of building and nurturing a photography community and artistic growth in Elora, Ontario and surrounding areas.

By hosting photography workshops, portfolio reviews, speaking engagements and studio “Jam Sessions” the EPC strives to be a fun and accepting community-based hub of photography.
